Fall Sew Much Fun For Children Sessions

Session 1
Owl Pillow/Softie
makes a great gift!
for children ages 8 and up
Level: beginner
Mondays, Nov 4 & 11
4:30-6:00 pm
$30 per student + $10 supply fee = $40 total (all due by first class)
fabric & button choices will vary, but let me know if you want a certain color/colors and I'll do my best to accommodate
skills- using a simple pattern, machine straight stitch, zig-zag/satin stitch, hand stitching, sewing on buttons, pivoting, and sewing curves
Bring your own sewing machine and bobbin. I'll supply the thread.




Session 2
Scottie Dog Pillow/Softie
another great gift idea!
for children ages 8 and up
Level: beginner
Mondays, Nov 18 & 25
4:30-5:30 pm
Cost: $15 + $5 supply fee = $20 total due at first class
fabric choices will vary, but let me know if you want a certain color/colors and I'll do my best to accommodate
Skills: machine straight and curved stitching and pivoting, stuffing, and some hand stitching
Bring your own sewing machine and bobbin. I'll supply the thread.

Felt Ornaments

These pot holders are simple and functional. We'll make two.


Skills: basic plus sewing multiple layers and turning
Please bring your own sewing machine with a bobbin. I'll supply the thread.



Session 2
Barbie Doll Clothes
for children ages 8 and up
Mondays 4:30-5:30pm
November 12 & 19
$30+$5 supply fee due 1 week before class start date
Make some for yourself or for a friend. We'll make a skirt and top.


Skills: basic plus elastic waistband and zig-zag stitching
Please bring your own sewing machine with a bobbin. I'll supply the thread.

Late Summer Sessions

I suggest arriving 5 min early to set up

Project: Zippered Pouch
These lined 6"x9" pouches are simple, versatile, and fun!



Skills: zippers, straight stitching, and lining

Tuition and Fees: $30 +$3 supply fee due by first class. I accept Paypal, checks, or cash

Please bring your own machine if you have one with a bobbin. I'll supply thread and any other supplies needed.

Let's Sew Together Mother and Daughter classes



For mothers and daughters ages 8 & up

*Class Information*
Dates:
A) August 7, 14, 21, 28
B) August 8, 15, 22, 29

Each time slot is limited to 4 people and is on a first come first served basis. If you would like a different time not shown please contact me and we'll see what we can work out. I'm pretty flexible.

A) Tue 4:30-6:00 pm
B) Wed 1:30- 3:00 pm

Tuition & fee: I'm offering a discount for this class. $60 for 1 mother and 1 daughter. $15 more for each additional daughter, grandmother, etc. Fee is $10 per person for supplies.

Project: A-line style aprons. These are simple and fun to make and wear. Please let me know option (see below), color preference, and size (child 5-6/S or 7-8/M) (Adult S, M, L, or XL). I recommend Adult S for most girls 10 and up. Bigger is always better than smaller for growing kids!

Skills: how to read and use a pattern, straight and zig-zag stitching, hemming, and simple embellishments.

Options: 1) Ribbons for ties. 2) Fabric for ties
